ORDINANCE N0. 88-012 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY UF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 8-10(C) OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR THE REVIST_ON OF THE HUNTING REGULATIONS AT I,AKE CROOK; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $500.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF Nay 1, 1988. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That Section 8-10(c) of the Code of_ Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall read as follows: "Sec. 8-10. Hunti_ng or discharging firearms at Lake Crook. (c) The boundaries of the hunting area districts are established in accordance with the "Hunting Area Map" of Lake Crook, dated July l, 1972. The districts established are restricted as follows: (1) Districts 8 and 10 are restricted to no hunting. (2) District 1, 2 and 3 are restricted to hunting with bow and arrows only. (3) Districts 4, 5, 6 and 7 are restricted to hunting with shotguns with shot only, no slugs permitted. (4) District 9 is restricted to hunting for geese or ducks in accordance with all applicable federal and state Iaws and regulations. Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $500.00, and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above enumerated section shall constitute and be deemed a separate offense. Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinar.ces in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on May l, 1988.
