<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 88-013 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE <br /> CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br /> ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A <br /> GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOT 9, CITY BLOCK 102-C, ON <br /> PROPERTY BELONGING TO EVER F. HILLIARD, SO AS TO INCLUDE <br /> THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A MULTI FAMILY <br /> DISTRICT (MF-1); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br /> GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established <br /> by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of <br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, <br /> and that a GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), be, and the same is <br /> hereby established on LOT 9, CITY BLOCK 102-C, on property <br /> belonging to EVER F. HILLIARD, so as to include in such <br /> GENERAL RF.TAIL DISTRICT (GR) the hereinafter described <br /> property, which was formerly and is presently designated as <br /> a MULTI FAMILY DISTRICT (MF-1), and that the boundaries of <br /> said GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), be, and the same are <br /> hereby established as follows: <br /> Situated within the corporate limits of the <br /> City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of <br /> Texas, and being A part of the Larkin Rattan <br /> Survey within the Corporate limits of the City of <br /> Paris, described by metes and bounds as foZlows in <br /> accordance with a survey made by Emory C. Smith, <br /> Registered Professional Engineer, on August 29, <br /> 1961; <br /> Beginning at an iron stake at a point 90 feet <br /> North of the Northeast intersection of Margaret <br /> Street and 16th Street Southeast; <br /> Thence East 86 feet, an iron stake; <br /> Thence North 57 feet, an iron stake; <br /> Thence West 86 feet an irori stake in the EB <br /> line of 16th Street S.E.; <br /> Thence South with the EB line of said street <br /> 57 feet to the place of beginning. <br /> Being the same property described in deed <br /> from Virginia McKinney Black et al to Mae Laster, <br /> deed dated Nov. 12, 1970, recorded Book 521, page <br /> 246, Lamar County Deed Records. <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development <br /> of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to <br /> change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance <br /> with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use <br /> map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the <br /> provisions of this ordinance. <br /> Section 3. Al1 ordina.nces and parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective <br /> immediately upon passage. <br />
