<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. $8-017 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br /> PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE <br /> AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 14-1 (a) OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING <br /> FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL <br /> ORDINANCES OR PAP.TS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND <br /> PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JUNE l, 1988.. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section 1. That Section 14-1 of the Code of <br /> Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so <br /> that such shall read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 14-1. Littering prohibited. <br /> (a) It shall be unlawful for aily person to <br /> knowingly, wilfully, negligently, or carelessly <br /> throw, deposit, place, cast, scatter, dump, pile, <br /> leave or lay any Iitter upon any public street, <br /> public street right of way, sidewalk, other public <br /> property, or upori any premises belonging to <br /> another person, or to permit any litter to blow <br /> from any vehicle on any public street, public <br /> street right of way, sidewalk, other public <br /> property, or upon any premises belonging to <br /> another person." <br /> Section 2. Any person violating any of the <br /> provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a <br /> Misdemeanor, and u on conviction shall be fined in any sum <br /> not to exceed ~2,000.00, and each and every day's <br /> continuance of any violation of the above enumerated section <br /> shall constitute and be deemed a separate offense. <br /> Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> Section 4.
