<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 88-020 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE <br /> CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br /> ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD <br /> SIGN (52) ON : I,OT 2, CITY I3LOCK 306, ON PROPERTY BELONGING <br /> TO CARLES STERLING, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY <br /> rORMERLY BESIGNATED AS A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C); AND <br /> DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) <br /> AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN (52) SO <br /> FSTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established <br /> by the Zoning Map and Urdinance No. 1710 of the City of <br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, <br /> and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - <br /> BILLBOARD SIGN (52), be, and the same is hereby established <br /> on: LOT 2, CITY BLOCK 306, on property belonging to CARLES <br /> STERLING, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) <br /> AND SPECIFIC USE PEF.MIT - BILLBOARD SIGN (52) the <br /> hereiriafter described property, which was £ormerly and is <br /> presently designated as a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), and that <br /> the boundaries of said CUMNIERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC <br /> USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN (52), be, and the same are <br /> hereby estdblished as follows: <br /> Situated within the corporate limits of the <br /> City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of <br /> Texas, and being Being Lot 2, City Block 306 and <br /> more particularly described as follows: <br /> Beginning at the intersection of the north <br /> baundary line of Loop 286 with the east boundary <br /> Line of North Main Street; <br /> Thence northerly with said east boundary line <br /> of North Main Street 250 feet to the northwest <br /> corner of said Lot 2; <br /> Thence easterly with the north line of said <br /> Lot 2, 217.6 feet to a poixit; the most westerly <br /> northeast corner of Lot 2; <br /> Thence southeasterly a distance of 143.2 feet <br /> to a point, the most easterly northeast corner of <br /> Lot 2; <br /> Thence southerly with the east line of said <br /> Lot 2, 265 feet to the southeast corner af Lot 2 <br /> and in the narth boundary line of Loop 286; <br /> Th.ence with the north boundary line of Loop <br /> 286 the following: Westerly, 250 feet to a point; <br /> northwesterly 135 feet to the place of beginning. <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development <br /> of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to <br /> change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance <br /> with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use <br /> map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the <br /> provisions of this ordinaYice. <br /> Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> Section 4. This ardinance shall become effective <br /> immediately upon passage. <br />
