<br />DRAFT <br /> <br />F:A TTORNEY\RESWORK\CURRENT\ Appt traffic Commission - Unexpired 2005 <br />August 16,2005 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE TRAFFIC <br />COMMISSION TO SERVE THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF RICK MACKEY, <br />WHICH EXPIRES JUNE 30, 2007; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND <br />PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of the Traffic Commission of the <br />City of Paris due to the resignation of Rick Mackey, and it is necessary to appoint his successor; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointment of <br />Dr. Thomas Calabria to serve the unexpired term of Rick Mackey, which ends June 30, 2007; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. That Dr. Thomas Calabria be, and he is hereby, appointed to serve the <br />unexpired term of Rick Mackey, which ends June 30, 2007, as a member of the Traffic <br />Commission of the City of Paris. <br /> <br />Section 3.
