ORDINANCE N0. 87-005 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEYAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT 6, CITY BLOCK 222-A, ON PROPFRTY BELONGING TO NATHAN J. BELL, SO AS TO INCLUDF THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GP.); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: 5ection l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of_ Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same is hereby established en LOT 6, CITY BLOCK 222-A, on property belonging to NATHAN J. BELL, so as to include in such • COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, which was f_ormerly and is presently designated as a GENERAL RETAIL DISTP.ICT (GR), and that the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and being a part of the George W. Cox Survev. BEGINNING at a point on Lamar Avenue, same being the SEC of a tract of land conveyed by W. W. Stell to Jas. W. Moore as shown in Book 94, Page 373, Lamar County Deed Records. THENCE North with the FBL of said Moore tract 292 feet to the SEC of the lot conveyed by Mrs. S. R Galbreath et al to Paris Girl Scouts as shown in Book 238, Page 30, I.amar County Deed Records; THENCE West with the SBL of said Paris Girl Scout Lot, 61.5 feet tc a stake, being the NEC of a lot conveyed to Mary E. McClanahan, an November 27, 1939. THENCE South with the EBL of said Mary E. McClanahan lot 296.2 feet to the SEC of said Mary E. McClanahan lot, being a point in the NBL of Lamar Ave.; THENCE East with the said NBL of Lamar Avenue 61.5 feet to the place of beginning. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the ?and use map accompar.ying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
