<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 87T007 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE <br /> CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br /> ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT 9, CITY BLOCK 223, ON <br /> PROPERTY BELONGING TO DONALD ROBINSON, SO AS TO INCLUDE <br /> THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A GENFRAL RETAIL <br /> DISTRICT (GR); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established <br /> by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of <br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, <br /> and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same is <br /> hereby established on LOT 9, CITY BLOCK 223, on property <br /> belonging to DONALD ROBINSON, so as to include in such <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, <br /> which was formerl_y and is presently designated as a GENERAL <br /> RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), and that the boundaries of said <br /> COMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby <br /> established as foilows: <br /> Situated within the corporate Iimits of the <br /> City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of <br /> Texas, and being a part of tYie George W. Cox <br /> Survey and being a tract of land conveyed G. L. <br /> Simmons and wife, eva Lee Simmons, by deed <br /> recorded April 14, 1953, i.n Volume 335, Page 123, <br /> of the Deed Records of said County and State, and <br /> being further described as follows: <br /> BEGIrINING at an iron pin for corner at the <br /> intersection of the South Boudnary line of Lamar <br /> Avenue with the East Boundary line of 19th Street <br /> S.E.; <br /> THENCE S 0° 46' E, with the East boundary <br /> line of 19th Street S.E., a distance c;f 205 feet, <br /> a Bois d'Arc post for corner; <br /> THENCE N 89° 32' E a distance of 107 feet, a <br /> Bois d'Arc post for corner same being an inside <br /> el1 corner of the Cabaniss' tract of land; <br /> THENCE N 00 29' W, with the Cabiniss' line, a <br /> distance of 204.1 feet, an iron pin for corner in <br /> the South.]Boundary line of Lamar Avenue; <br /> THENCE West, with the South Boundary line of <br /> Lamar Avenue a distance of 108 feet to the place <br /> of beginning and containing 21,990 square feet of <br /> land, more or less. <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development <br /> of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to <br /> change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance <br /> with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use <br /> riap accompar_ying the same, and in accordance with the <br /> provisions of this ordinance. <br /> Section 3. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective <br /> immediately upon passage. <br />
