ORDINANCE N0. 87T007 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT 9, CITY BLOCK 223, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO DONALD ROBINSON, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A GENFRAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same is hereby established on LOT 9, CITY BLOCK 223, on property belonging to DONALD ROBINSON, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerl_y and is presently designated as a GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), and that the boundaries of said COMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby established as foilows: Situated within the corporate Iimits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and being a part of tYie George W. Cox Survey and being a tract of land conveyed G. L. Simmons and wife, eva Lee Simmons, by deed recorded April 14, 1953, i.n Volume 335, Page 123, of the Deed Records of said County and State, and being further described as follows: BEGIrINING at an iron pin for corner at the intersection of the South Boudnary line of Lamar Avenue with the East Boundary line of 19th Street S.E.; THENCE S 0° 46' E, with the East boundary line of 19th Street S.E., a distance c;f 205 feet, a Bois d'Arc post for corner; THENCE N 89° 32' E a distance of 107 feet, a Bois d'Arc post for corner same being an inside el1 corner of the Cabaniss' tract of land; THENCE N 00 29' W, with the Cabiniss' line, a distance of 204.1 feet, an iron pin for corner in the South.]Boundary line of Lamar Avenue; THENCE West, with the South Boundary line of Lamar Avenue a distance of 108 feet to the place of beginning and containing 21,990 square feet of land, more or less. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use riap accompar_ying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
