<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 87-016 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br /> PROVIDING THAT PARAGRAPH 8-301, SECTION 8 AND PARAGRAPH <br /> 23-100, SECTION 23, ORDINANCE N0. 1710 BE AMENDED; PROVIDING <br /> FOR A RETAIL SHQPPING CENTER AND A COMMERCIAL CENTER; <br /> PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $1,000.00; REPEALING <br /> ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; <br /> AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF APRIL 1, 1987. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Paragraph 8-301, Section 8 of <br /> Ordinance 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be <br /> amended as follows: <br /> ' . . . <br /> <br /> a. Retail shopping center. <br /> <br /> a 1. Commercial center. <br /> b. . . .it <br /> <br /> <br /> Section 2. That Paragraph 23-100, Section 23 of <br /> Ordinance 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be <br /> amended as follows: <br /> "Any person violating any of the provisions of <br /> this ordinance shall, upon a conviction, be fined <br /> any sum not exceeding One Thousand Dollars <br /> ($1,000.00); and each and every day that the <br /> provisions of this ordinance are violated shall <br /> constitute a separate and distinct offense. In <br /> addition . . <br /> Section 3. Any person violating any of the pro- <br /> visions af this ordinance upon conviction shall be <br /> fined in any sum not to exceed $1,000.00, and each and <br /> every day's continuance of any violation of the above <br /> enumerated section shall constitute and be deemed a <br /> separate offense. <br /> Section 4. All ordinances or parts of <br /> ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly <br /> repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 5.
