ORDINANCE N0. 87-016 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT PARAGRAPH 8-301, SECTION 8 AND PARAGRAPH 23-100, SECTION 23, ORDINANCE N0. 1710 BE AMENDED; PROVIDING FOR A RETAIL SHQPPING CENTER AND A COMMERCIAL CENTER; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $1,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF APRIL 1, 1987. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That Paragraph 8-301, Section 8 of Ordinance 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended as follows: ' . . . a. Retail shopping center. a 1. Commercial center. b. . . .it Section 2. That Paragraph 23-100, Section 23 of Ordinance 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended as follows: "Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon a conviction, be fined any sum not exceeding One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00); and each and every day that the provisions of this ordinance are violated shall constitute a separate and distinct offense. In addition . . Section 3. Any person violating any of the pro- visions af this ordinance upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $1,000.00, and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above enumerated section shall constitute and be deemed a separate offense. Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective on April 1, 1987.
