<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 87-017 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br /> PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PAR.IS, BE <br /> AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 29-1I2 (b) and (c) OF SAID CODE; <br /> PP.OVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF A REVISED TRAFFIC PARKING MAP; <br /> PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL <br /> ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND <br /> PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF APRIL 1, 1987. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section 1. That Section 29-112 (b) and (c) of the <br /> Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be <br /> amended so that such shall read as follows: <br /> "Sec. 29-112. Traff:ic parking system. <br /> <br /> (a) . . . <br /> <br /> (b) Revised Traffic Parking Map adopted. <br /> Two (2) original official and identical copies of <br /> the Revised Traffic Parking Map are hereby <br /> adopted, bearing the signature of the mayor, the <br /> attestation of the city clerk and approved as to <br /> form by the city attorney, revised March 9, 1987, <br /> and shall be filed and maintained as follows: <br /> (1) One copy of the Original Traffic Parking <br /> rZap and onP copy of the Revised Traffic <br /> Parking Map shall be filed with the city <br /> clerk and retained as the original <br /> record and shall not be changed in any <br /> manner. <br /> (2) One copy of the Revised Traff ic Parking <br /> Map shall be filed with the chief, Paris <br /> police department, and shall be main- <br /> tained up-to-date by the Director of <br /> Community Development by posting all <br /> changes in the form of subsequent <br /> amendments for use in enforcing the <br /> observance of parking established. <br /> (3) Reproductions for information purposes <br /> may from time to time be made of the <br /> revised traffic parking map. <br /> (c) . . . <br /> (1) . . . <br /> <br /> (2) One cop_y shall be filed with the chief, <br /> Paris police department, and shall be <br /> maintained up-to-date by the Director of <br /> Community Development by posting all <br /> changes in the form of subsequent <br /> amendments for use in enforcing the <br /> observance of said no-parking <br /> established. <br /> (3) . . <br /> <br /> Section 2. The Director of Community Development is <br /> directed to change the Traf_fic No-Parking Map to coincide <br /> with and refZect the no parking established in the Revised <br /> Traffic Parking Map. <br />
