<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 87_011 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE <br /> CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br /> ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A <br /> LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) ON LOT 14, CITY BLOCK 297, ON <br /> PROPERTY BELONGING TO CAMP$ELL SOUP (TEXAS), INC., SO AS TO <br /> INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN <br /> AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF <br /> THE LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established <br /> by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of <br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, <br /> and that a LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI), be, and the same <br /> is hereby established on LOT 14, CITY BLOCK 297, on property <br /> belonging to CAMPBELL SOUP (TEXAS), INC., so as to include <br /> in such LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) the hereinafter <br /> described property, which was formerly and is presently <br /> designated as an AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A), and that the <br /> boundaries of said LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI), be, and <br /> the same are hereby established as follows: <br /> Situated withiri the corporate limits of the <br /> City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of <br /> Texas, and being contiguous to the City Limit Line <br /> of the City of Paris as heretofore established by <br /> Ordinance Nos. 1569 and 1617; <br /> BEGINNING at a point in the North Right of <br /> Way Line of Loop Highway 286 N.W., said point <br /> being in the East Boundary Line of the St. <br /> Louis-San Francisco Railway Company Right of Way, <br /> said point being the South West Corner of a 4.89 <br /> acre tract of land conveyed Reuben M. Ginsberg by <br /> deed dated August 10, 1971, recorded Vol. 528, <br /> Page 826, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas; <br /> THENCE in a Westerly direction with said <br /> North Right of Way Line of Loop Highway 286 N.W., <br /> 110 feet, more or less, to a point, being the <br /> South East Corner of the Campbell Soup Company <br /> property, said point being the South East Corner <br /> of a 20.987 acre tract of land purchased by <br /> Campbell Soup Company from Paris, Texas Industrial <br /> Foundation, Inc.; <br /> THENCE in a Westerly direction with the North <br /> Right of Way Line of Loop Highway 286 to the South <br /> West Corner of the Campbell Soup Company property, <br /> also being the South West Corner of a 26.326 acre <br /> tract purchased by Campbell Soup Company from <br /> Smith; <br /> THENCE North 0 Degrees 24 Minutes East with <br /> the West Boundary Line of said Smith tract 1042 <br /> feet to a point, said point being in the South <br /> Boundary Line of a 6 acre tract purchased by <br /> Campbell Soup Company from Holley; <br /> THENCE South 89 Degrees 30 Minutes East, a <br /> distance of 389 feet with said Holley South <br /> Boundary Line to the South East Corner of said <br /> Holley tract; <br /> THENCE North 1 Degree East a distance of <br /> 1229,6 feet to the most Westerly North West Corner <br /> of a 35.532 acre tract purchased by Campbell Soup <br /> Company from Council; <br /> THEr1CE North 89 Degrees 30 Minutes East, 577 <br /> feet to an ell corner in said 35.532 acre tract; <br />
