<br /> AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC
<br /> HEARINGS BEFORE THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE
<br /> CITY OF PARIS AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS ON
<br /> THE PROPQSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF
<br /> PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND APPROPRIATE ZONING UPON ANNEXATION,
<br /> AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF
<br /> SUCH YUBLIC HEARINGS.
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br /> PARIS:
<br /> Section l. That public hearings be held by and
<br /> before the Planning and Zoning commission af the City of
<br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, on the 8th day of September, 1987, at
<br /> 7:00 o'clock p.m. in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris,
<br /> Texas; by and before the City Council of the City of Paris,
<br /> Paris, Texas, in Regular Session convened on the lOth day of
<br /> September, 1987, at 5:15 o'clock p.m., in the Council Room,
<br /> City Hall, Paris, Texas; and by and before the City Council
<br /> of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, in Regular Session
<br /> convened on the 14th day of September, 1987, at 7:00 o'clock
<br /> p.m., in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas, giving
<br /> all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on
<br /> the proposed annexatiori and appropriate zoning upon
<br /> annexation of the following described property:
<br /> TRACT l:
<br /> Situated in the Enoch Crow Survey, Lamar
<br /> County, Texas and more particularly described as
<br /> follows:
<br /> BEGINNING at a point in the East boundary
<br /> lirie of a tract of land conveyed to W. Elmer and
<br /> Fleta Skidmore by deed recorded in Vol. 396, Page
<br /> 418, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, said point
<br /> being 500 feet North of and perpendicular to the
<br /> North boundary line of U. S. Highway No. 82 and
<br /> being in the present city limits line of the City
<br /> oi Paris;
<br /> THENCE North with the said East boundary line
<br /> of said Skidmore tract, 300 feet more or less to
<br /> the Northeast corner of said tract;
<br /> THENCE West with the North boundary line of
<br /> said Skidmore tract and continuing West with the
<br /> North boundary line of a tract of land owned by
<br /> Uonald R. Lewis, et al, 510 feet more or less to
<br /> the East boundary line of a 16.5 acre tract of
<br /> land conveyed W. T. Ford by deed recorded in Vol
<br /> 274, Page 499, Deed Records of Lamar County,
<br /> Texas;
<br /> THENCE South with the East boundary line of
<br /> said Ford tract, 305 feet more or less to the
<br /> Northeast corner of a tract of land conveyed to
<br /> Zed Smith, III and Michael B. Smith by deed
<br /> recorded in Vol 611, Page 12 and Vol. 626, Page
<br /> 901, Deed P.ecords, Lamar County, Texas;
<br /> THENCE West with the North boundary line of
<br /> said Smith tract and continuing West along the
<br /> North boundary lines of properties owned by
<br /> Hilliard and Sons, Inc., John Yerby and a tract
<br /> owned by Hoyt and Charline Langley and Gerald and
<br /> Nadine Farmer, 855 feet more or less to the
<br /> Northwest corner of said Langley-Farmer tract,
<br /> said point being in the East boundary line of 46th
<br /> N.E. and being 764 feet North of and perpendicular
<br /> to the North boundary line of U.S. Highway No 82;
