That SectioTi 12-154 of the Code of <br /> Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so <br /> that such shall read as follows: <br /> "Sec. 12-154. Amendments by revision. <br /> <br /> The Standard Fire Prevention Code, 1982 <br /> Edition, as revised by 1983 revisions, as adopted, <br /> is hereby amended by changing the following <br /> paragraphs to read as follows: <br /> 1.10. Compliance and Penalty. <br /> <br /> (a) Any person operating or maintaining <br /> any occupancy, premises or vehicle subject to <br /> this code who shall permit any fire hazard to <br /> exist on premises under his control or who <br /> shall fail to take immediate action to abate <br /> a fire hazard when ordered or notified to do <br /> so by the fire official or his duly <br /> authorized representative shall be guilty of <br /> a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be <br /> fined in any sum not to exceed two thousand <br /> dollars ($2,000.00) and each and every day's <br /> continuance of any violation of the Standard <br /> Fire Code, 1982 Edition, revised by 1983 <br /> revisions, as adopted, or Chapter 12 of the <br /> Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris shall <br /> constitute and be deemed a separate offense." <br /> Section 5. That Section 14-4 of the Code of <br /> Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so <br /> that such shall read as follows: <br /> "Sec. 14-4. Penalty. <br /> Any person violating any of the provisions of <br /> this ordinance shall be guilty of a Misdemeanor, <br /> and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not <br /> to exceed two thousand dollars ($2,000.00), and <br /> each and every day's continuance of any violation <br /> of the above enumerated section shall constitute <br /> and be deemed a separate offense." <br /> Section 6. That Section 15-25 of the Code of <br /> Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so <br /> that such shall read as follows: <br /> "Sec. 15-25. Penalty. <br /> <br /> Any person violating any of the provisions of <br /> this ordinance shall be guilty of a Misdemeanor, <br /> and upon conviction shall be fitied in any sum not <br /> to exceed two thousand dollars $2,000.00, and each <br /> and every day's continuance of any violation of <br /> the above enumerated section shall constitute and <br /> be deemed a separate offense." <br /> Section 7. That Section 24-5 of the Code of Ordi- <br /> nances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so <br /> that such shall read as follows: <br />
