ORDINANCE N0. 87-058 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A CO ,N'MERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOTS 6, 7 AND 8, CITY BLOCK 60, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO LUTHER TOWERS AND W. L. MOWREY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A GENERAL RETAIL DISTP.ICT (GR); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same is hereby established on LOTS 6, 7 AND 8, CITY BLOCK 60, on property belonging to LUTHER TOWERS AND W. L. MOWREY, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), and that the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the North Boundary Line of Pine Bluff Street with the East Boundary Line of N.E. 3rd Street, the Southwest corner of Lot 6, City Block 60; THENCE North with said East Boundary Line of N.E. 3rd Street, a distance of 131 feet to a point, the Northwest corner of Lot 6, City Block 60; THENCE East a distance of 150 ieet to a point, the Northeast corner of Lot 8, City Block 60; THENCE South a distance of 131 feet to a point in the North Boundary Line of Pine Bluff Street, the Southeast corner of said Lot 8, City Block 60; THENCE West with the North Boundary Line of Pine Bluff Street, a distance of 150 feet to the place of beginning. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Sectiori 3. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
