<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 86-029 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE <br /> CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br /> ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A <br /> GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOT 5, CITY BLOCK 37, ON <br /> PROPERTY BELONGING TO WAYNE WATTS, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN <br /> TERRITORY FQRMERLY DESIGNATED AS A MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING <br /> DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br /> GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established <br /> by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of <br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, <br /> and that a GENERAL RETAIL DISTF.ICT (GR), be, and the same is <br /> hereby established on LOT 5, CITY BLOCK 37, on property <br /> Uelonging to WAYNE WATTS, so as to include in such <br /> GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) the hereinafter described <br /> property, which was formerly and is presently designated as <br /> a MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1), and that the <br /> boundaries of_ said GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), be, and the <br /> same are hereby established as iollows: <br /> Situated within the corporate limits of the <br /> City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of <br /> Texas, and being that certain lot or parcel of <br /> larLd located at 412 and 414 Pine Bluff Street, <br /> Paris, Lamar County, Texas, being Lot 5, City <br /> Block 37, according to the plat records of Lamar <br /> County, Texas, more fully described as follows: <br /> A part of the Larkin Rattan Survey in the <br /> corporate limits of the City of Paris, Texas, and <br /> a part of City Block 37; <br /> BEGINNING 137 feet West of the intersection <br /> of the South Boundary Line of Pine Bluff Street <br /> and the West Boundary Line of Fifth Street <br /> Northeast (formerly North 24th Street); <br /> THENCE South with the center line of a hedge <br /> and fence 116 feet; <br /> THENCE West 50 feet a corner; <br /> THENCE North 116 feet a stake in the South <br /> Boundary Line of Pine Bluff Street; <br /> THENCE East 50 feet to the place of <br /> beginning, as shown by survey of W. F. Hicks made <br /> on the ground on January 12, 1944. <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development <br /> of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to <br /> change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance <br /> with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use <br /> map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the <br /> provisions of this ordinance. <br /> Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective <br /> immediately upon passage. <br />
