<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. $5-027 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br /> AMENDING ORDIPJANCE N0. 85-013 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br /> TEXAS, BY CHANGING THE EFFECTIVE llATE OF THE SAME; PROVIDING <br /> FOR A PENALTY NQT TG EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL <br /> ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND <br /> PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JULY 1, 1985. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section l. That Section 5 of Ordinance No. 85-013 <br /> of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such <br /> shall read as follows: <br /> "Sec. 5. This Ordinance shall become effective <br /> on July 1, 1985." <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is hereby declared to be the <br /> intention of the City Council of the City of Paris that the <br /> sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses and phrases of this <br /> ordinance are severable, and if any phrase, clause, <br /> sentence, paragraph or section of this ordinance shall be <br /> declared unconstitutional or invalid by the valid judgment <br /> or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction, such <br /> unconstitutionality or invalidity shall not affect any of <br /> the remaining phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs and <br /> sections of this ordinance, since the same would have been <br /> enacted by the City Council without the incorporation in <br /> this ordinance of any unconstitutional or invalid phrases, <br /> clauses, sentences, paragraphs or sections. <br /> Section 3. Any person violating any of the <br /> provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" <br /> Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum <br /> not to exceed $200.00, an each and every day's continuance <br /> of any violation of the above enumerated section shall <br /> constitute and be deemed a separate offense. <br /> Section 4. Al1 ordinances or parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> Section 5.
