. , ORDINANCE N0.85-029 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 29-115(c) OF SAID CODE; PRO- VIDING FOR CHANGE IN MINIMUM WIDTH OF SIDEWALKS TO CONFORM WITH OTHER SECTIONS OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOP. A PENALTY P10T TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINAI'dCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JUNE 1, 1985. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That Section 29-115(c) of the Code of OrdinancPS of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall read as follows: "Sec. 29-115 Parallel and angle parking. (c) Where normal curbs are moved from the edge of any street for angle parking, such parking areas shall have a minimum depth of twenty (20) feet from the normal curb line, and a sidewalk shall extend the length of such parking area and shall be a r.linimum of four (4) feet in width in residential area and six (6) feet in width in business areas, in addition to such twenty (20) feet. . . . " Section 2. Any person violating any of the pro- visions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200.00, and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above enumerated section shall constitute and be deemed a separate offense. Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on June 1, 1985.
