<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 85-031 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE <br /> CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br /> ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) <br /> ON A 9,73 ACRE TRACT OF LAND BEING LOT 3, CITY BLOCK 313, ON <br /> PROPERTY BELONGING TO NATHAN J. BELL, SO AS TU INCLUDE <br /> THEREIrd TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A AGRICULTURAL <br /> DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) <br /> SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established <br /> by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of <br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, <br /> and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL <br /> DISTRICT (LI), be, and the same is hereby established on A <br /> 9.73 ACRE TRACT OF LAND BEING LOT 3, CITY BLOCK 313, on <br /> property belonging to NATHAN J. BELL, so as to include in <br /> such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT <br /> (LI) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly <br /> and is presently designated as a AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A), <br /> and that the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND <br /> A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI), be, and the same are <br /> hereby established as follows: <br /> Situated within the corporate limits of the <br /> City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of <br /> Texas, and being a part of the Joseph Leach Survey <br /> #524, and being a part of a 10 acre tract of land <br /> conveyed D. B. Shelton by deed recorded in Vol. <br /> 284, Page 317, of the Deed Records of said County <br /> and State. <br /> Beginning at an iron pin for corner in the <br /> South Boundary Line of U. S. Highway 82 at the <br /> present Northeast corner of said Shelton tract of <br /> land. <br /> THENCE in a Westerly direction along the <br /> South Boundary Line of said U. S. Highway 82 <br /> around a curve to the left a distance of 231.4 <br /> feet to an iron pin for corner at the present <br /> Northwest corner of said tract of land; <br /> THEPZCE South a distance of 1827 feet to an <br /> iron pin for corner at the Southwest corner of <br /> said Shelton tract of land; <br /> THENCE East a distance of 231 feet to an iron <br /> pin for corner at the Southeast corner of said <br /> tract of land; <br /> <br /> THENCE North a distance of 1841 feet to the <br /> place of beginning and containing 9.73 acres of <br /> land. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development <br /> of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to <br /> change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance <br /> with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use <br /> map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the <br /> provisions of this ordinance. <br />
