ORDINANCE N0. 85-031 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) ON A 9,73 ACRE TRACT OF LAND BEING LOT 3, CITY BLOCK 313, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO NATHAN J. BELL, SO AS TU INCLUDE THEREIrd TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI), be, and the same is hereby established on A 9.73 ACRE TRACT OF LAND BEING LOT 3, CITY BLOCK 313, on property belonging to NATHAN J. BELL, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A), and that the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and being a part of the Joseph Leach Survey #524, and being a part of a 10 acre tract of land conveyed D. B. Shelton by deed recorded in Vol. 284, Page 317, of the Deed Records of said County and State. Beginning at an iron pin for corner in the South Boundary Line of U. S. Highway 82 at the present Northeast corner of said Shelton tract of land. THENCE in a Westerly direction along the South Boundary Line of said U. S. Highway 82 around a curve to the left a distance of 231.4 feet to an iron pin for corner at the present Northwest corner of said tract of land; THEPZCE South a distance of 1827 feet to an iron pin for corner at the Southwest corner of said Shelton tract of land; THENCE East a distance of 231 feet to an iron pin for corner at the Southeast corner of said tract of land; THENCE North a distance of 1841 feet to the place of beginning and containing 9.73 acres of land. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
