<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 85-048 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br /> PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE <br /> AMENDED BY ADDING SECTION 14-4 AND 15-25 TO SAID CODE; <br /> PROVIDING FOR THE INCREASING OF THE PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS <br /> RELATING TO PUBLIC HEALTH AND SANITATION FROM A MAXIMUM OF <br /> $200.00 TO A MAXIMUM OF $1,000.00; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY <br /> NOT TO EXCEED $1,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS <br /> OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE OF SEPTENiBER 1, 1985. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section 1. That the Code of Ordinances of the City <br /> of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended by adding Section 14-4 to <br /> Article I of Chapter 14, to read as follows: <br /> "Sec. 14-4. Any person violating any of the <br /> provisions of this Article shall be guilty of a <br /> Class C Misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be <br /> fined in any sum not to exceed one thousand <br /> dollars ($1,000.00), and each day's continuance of <br /> any violation described in this Article shall <br /> constitute and be deemed a separate offense." <br /> Section 2. That the Code of Ordinances of the City <br /> of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended by adding Section 15-25 <br /> to Article II of Chapter 15, to read as follows: <br /> "Sec. 15-25. Penalty. <br /> <br /> Any person violating any of the provisions of <br /> this Article shall be guilty of a Class C Misde- <br /> meanor and upon conviction shall be fined in any <br /> sum not to exceed one thousand dollars <br /> ($1,000.00), and each day's continuance of any <br /> violation described in this Article shall con- <br /> stitute and be deemed a separate offense." <br /> Section 3. Any person violating any of the pro- <br /> visions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" <br /> Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum <br /> not to exceed $1,000.00, and each and every day's continu- <br /> ance of any violation of the above enumerated sections shall <br /> constitute and be deemed a separate offense. <br /> Sectian 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 4.
