<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. $5-055 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0, 1710 OF THE <br /> CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br /> ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A <br /> COMNiERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT 7, CITY BLOCK 222-A, ON <br /> PROPERTY BELONGING TO I.EONARD KAMMER, SO AS TO INCLUDE <br /> THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A GENERAL RETAIL <br /> DISTRICT (GR); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMER- <br /> CIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established <br /> by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of <br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, <br /> and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same is <br /> hereby established on LOT 7, CITY BLOCK 222-A, on property <br /> belonging to LEQNARD KAMMER, so as to include in such <br /> COMYiERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, <br /> which was formerly arrd is presently designated as a GENERAL <br /> RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), and that the boundaries of said <br /> CONIMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby estab- <br /> lished as follows: <br /> Situated withirti the corporate limits of the <br /> City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of <br /> Texas, and being a part of the George W. Cox <br /> Survey and being the 5outh half of the first lot <br /> set aside to Frances A. Lyon in the partition of <br /> the Tobias Mullins Estate and situated an the <br /> North Side of Lamar Avenue; <br /> BEGINNING at a point in the NE line of Lamar <br /> Avenue 69 feet West of the SW corner of the First <br /> Tract allotted to Tobias Mullins, Jr., in said <br /> partition, which point is the Southeast corner of <br /> said F. A. Lyon's lot; <br /> THENCE West 69 feet a stake in the NB line of <br /> Lamar Avenue, it being the SW corner of the F. A. <br /> Lyon lot and a.lso the Northern SW corner of the 16 <br /> 3/4 acre tract deeded to Tobias Mullins by J. R. <br /> Givens, by Deed of record in Book N-2, Page 335, <br /> Lamar County Deed Records; <br /> THENCE North with F. A. Lyon's South Boundary <br /> Line, 257 feet a stake; <br /> THENCE East 66 3/4 feet a stake in the East <br /> Boundary Line of the F. A. Lyon lot; <br /> THENCE South 257 feet to the place of begin- <br /> ning. <br /> Section 2. That the use of the property as requested <br /> by the awner of the same be and is hereby restricted so that <br /> a commercial billboard shall not be permitted on said <br /> property until the sign ordinance of the City of Paris, <br /> currently under review by the City Council of the City of <br /> Paris is revised, amended or it is determined that the <br /> current ordinance needs no revision it being conclusively <br /> presumed that any such revision, amendment or confirmation <br /> will have occurred on or before April 1, 1986 and thereafter <br /> this property and the use thereof shall only be limited by <br /> ordinance of the City of Paris and this conuition shall be <br /> held for nought. <br /> Section 3. That the Director of Community Development <br /> of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to <br /> change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in a.ccordance <br /> with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use <br />
