ORDINANCE N0. 85-059 AN ORDINANCE AMENDIPdG ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RFTAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOT 2, CITY BLOCK 220-A, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO JUNE PRESTON, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A TWO FAMILY DWELLING UISTRICT (2F); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), be, and the same is hereby established on LOT 2, CITY BLOCK 220-A, on property belonging to JUNE PRESTON, so as to include in such GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F), and that the baundaries of said GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and being a part of the Isaiah Davis Survey #253, and being a tract of land now owned by Morris S. Cass. BEGINNING at an iron pin for corner in the West Boundary Line of 20th N.E. at the present Northeast corner of a tract of land conveyed Morris S. Cass by deed recorded in Vol. 624, Page 278, of the Deed Records of said County and State. THENCE South 88 Deg. 55 Min. West a distance of 177.7 ft. to an iron pin for corner at the Northwest corner of said Cass tract of land; THENCE South a distance of 159 ft. to an iron pin for corner at the Southwest corner of a tract of land conveyed Morris S. Cass by deed recorded in Vol. 623, Page 303, of said Deed Records; THENCE South 89 Deg. 35 Min. East a distance of 192 ft. to an iron pin for corner at the present Southeast corner of said latter Cass tract of land; THENCE along the West Boundary Line of 20th N.E. as follows: Northerly around a curve to the right a distance of 82 ft.; NORTH a distance of 80 f_t. to the place of beginning. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become eff.ective immediately upon passage.
