ORDINANCE N0. $5-060 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON NORTH 38 FEET OF LOTS 9 AND 10, BLOCK 4, S. J. WRIGHT ADDITION, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO RICHARD MANNING AND CEDRIC COPE, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a GENER.AL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), be, and the same is hereby established on NORTH 38 FEET OF LOTS 9 AND 10, BLOCK 4, S. J. WRIGHT ADDITION, on property belonging to RICHARD MANNING AND CEDRIC COPE, so as to include in such GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F), and that the boundaries of said GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and being a part of the AGa Jarman Survey #479, and being a part of Lots 9 and 10, Black "4", Wrights Grand Ave. Addition. BEGINNING at an iron pin for corner at the present Northwest corner of said Lot 9, said point being South a distance of 160.5 ft. from the South Boundary Line of Bonham St. THENCE East along the South Boundary Line of an Alley a distance of 84.6 ft. to an iron pin for corner at the present Northeast corner of said Lot 10; THENCE South 2 Deg. 30 Min. East a distance of 38.5 ft. to a metal post for corner; THENCE South 89 Deg. 48 Min. West a distance of 86.3 ft. to an iron pin for corner; THENCE North along the East Boundary Line of 19th S.W. a distance of 38.8 ft. to the place of beginning. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith arP hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
