<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 85-063 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br /> PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE <br /> AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 22-3 OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING F0R <br /> EXTENDED HOURS OF CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE; <br /> PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL <br /> ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND <br /> PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF DECEMBER l, 1985. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section l. That Section 22-3 of the Code of <br /> Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so <br /> that such shall read as follows: <br /> "Sec. 22-3. Consumption on public property, on <br /> private property comsnonly used by the public, and <br /> in priUate clubs. <br /> <br /> <br /> (b) It shall be unlawful for any person to <br /> consume or possess with intent to consume an <br /> alcoholic beverage in a public place within <br /> the corporate limits of the City of Paris on <br /> Sunday bPtween 2:15 a.m. and 12 noon and on <br /> any other day between 2:15 a.m. and 7 a.m." <br /> Section 2. Any person violating any of the <br /> provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" <br /> Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum <br /> not to exceed $200.00, and each and every day's continuance <br /> of any violation of the above enumerated section shall <br /> constitute a.nd be deemed a separate offense. <br /> Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 4.
