<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 85-067 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br /> PROVIDING THAT ORDINANCE NC. 1710 BE AMENDED; PROVIDING FOR <br /> A NEW SCHEDULED USE OF BED AND BREAKFAST; DEFINE THE SAME <br /> AND REQUIRING A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT FOR SUCH USE; AND <br /> CORRECTING THE LIST OF SPECIFIC USE PERMITS IN SECTION 12 OF <br /> SAID ORDINANCE BY ADDING THERETO RECREATION FACiLITY <br /> PRIVATE; PROVTDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $1,000.00; <br /> REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT <br /> HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY 1, <br /> 1986. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Sectiozi 1. That Section Ordinance 1710 of the City <br /> of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended as follows: <br /> a. That Paragraph 8-101, Primary Residential <br /> Uses, be atriended by addirg immediately af_ter <br /> "Rooming House" the following: <br /> <br /> "Bed and Breakfast Historical Residence (41) <br /> "S" Shall be placed under two Family Dwell- <br /> ing (2F) and Multi-family Dwelling No. 1 <br /> (MF-1) indicating the requirement for a <br /> specific use permit in order for said use to <br /> be allowed in such districts and hatchmarks <br /> to occur under Multi-family Dwelling No. 2 <br /> (MF-2), Parking (P), Office (0), Neighborhood <br /> Service (NS), General Retail (GR), Commercial <br /> (C) and Central Area (CA) indicating that <br /> said use could be in said districts without <br /> the requirement of any additional zoning <br /> action." <br /> b. That Paragraph 8-201 be amended by adding <br /> thereto the following: <br /> "(41) Bed and Breakfast Historical Residence <br /> - in residence that has historical signifi- <br /> cance as evidenced by being listed in the <br /> Historical Register or having been granted a <br /> Historical Medallion occupied by the owner <br /> thereof making available for hire no more <br /> than four (4) individual bedrooms and having <br /> two (2) off street parking spaces for the <br /> residence and one (1) off street parking <br /> space for each bedroom for hire." <br /> c. That Paragraph 12-100 be amended by adding <br /> thereto the following: <br /> "(50) Recreation Facility (Private) in the <br /> SF-l, SF-2, SF-3, 2F, MF-1, MF-?., P, and NS <br /> Districts. <br /> (51) Bed and Breakfast Historical Residence <br /> in the 2F and MF-1 districts." <br /> <br /> Section 2. Any person violating any of the pro- <br /> visions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" <br /> Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum <br /> not to exceed $1,000.00, and each and every day's continu- <br /> ance of any violation of the above enumerated section shall <br /> constitute and be deemed a separate offense. <br />
