<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINArICE N0. 85-070 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE 0F THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br /> PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE <br /> AMENDED BY REVISING SUBPARAGRAPH (2)(b) OF SECTION 18-53 OF <br /> SAID CUDE; PROVIDING THAT FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS ALARM <br /> SYSTEMS MAINTENANCE PERSON OR COMPANY SHALL EE RESPONSIBLE <br /> TO THE INSTiTUTION OR TO THE CHIEF OF POLICE WITH THE TOTAL <br /> COST OF SUCH MAINTENANCE BEING BORN BY THE FINANCIAL <br /> INSTITUTION; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; <br /> REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT <br /> HEREWITH; AND PROVIPING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY l, <br /> 1986. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Sectior1 1. That Subparagraph (2)(b) of Section <br /> 18-53 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, <br /> Texas, be amended so that such shall read as follows: <br /> "Sec. 1$-53. Requirements Peculiar to FinarLcial <br /> Institutions. <br /> <br /> <br /> (2) <br /> (b) That the person or firm that has <br /> been named as the person responsible for the <br /> maintenance of the financial institutions' <br /> alarm system shalZ, at the expense of the <br /> financial institution, provide service for <br /> the alarm system at the request of the <br /> financial institution or the Chief of Police. <br /> In no event shall the City of Paris become <br /> liable for service charges for repairs and <br /> maintenance of the financial institutions' <br /> alarm system." <br /> Section 2, Any person violating any of the <br /> provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" <br /> Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum <br /> not to exceed $200.00, and each and every day's continuance <br /> of any violation of the above enumerated section shall <br /> constitute and be deemed a separate offense. <br /> Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> Section 4.
