ORDINANCE N0. 84-001 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOTS 16 AND 17, CITY BLOCK 220, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO RONALD BILLNIAN, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHEB. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), be, and the same is hereby established on LOTS 16 AND 17, CITY BLOCK 220, on property belonging to ROrdALD BILLMAN, so as to include in such GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a MULTI-FANiILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1), and that the boundaries of said GENERAL P.ETAIL DISTRICT (GR), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and being a part of the George W. Cox Survey and a part ot a tract of land conveyed Joe Dillard by deed recorded in Vol. 204, Page 400, of the Deed Records of said County and State. BEGINNING at a stake for corner at the Southwest corner of said Dillard tract of land; THENCE North along the East Boundary line of 17th N. E. a distance of 158.0 feet to a stake for corner at the Northwest corner of said Dillard tract of land; THENCE East a distance of 128 feet to a sta.ke for corner in the North Boundary Line of said tract of land; THENCE South a distance of 158.0 feet to a stake for corner; THENCE West along the North Boundary Line of Houston Street a distance of 128 feet to the place of beginning. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City ot Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use r.1ap accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective imtnediately upon passage.
