<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 84-002 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE <br /> CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br /> ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) QN A 8.62 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LOCATED <br /> ON THE EAST SIDE OF LOOP 286 S.E. BETWEEN I,EIGH DRIVE AND <br /> LAMAR AVE., ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO JAMES W. FARRIS, SO AS <br /> TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN <br /> AGRICULTUR.AL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF <br /> THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established <br /> by the 'Loning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of <br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, <br /> and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same is <br /> hereby established on A 8.62 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LOCATED ON <br /> THE EAST SIDE OF LOOP 286 S.E. BETWEEN LEIGH DRIVE AND LAMAR <br /> AVE., on property belonging to JAMES W. FARRIS, so as to <br /> include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter <br /> described property, which was formerly and is presently <br /> designated as an AGRICULTURAL DISTF.ICT (A), and that the <br /> boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same <br /> are hereby established as follows: <br /> Situated within the corporate limits of the <br /> City of -Paris, County of Lamar, and State of <br /> Texas, and being a part of Lot 2, City Block 313 <br /> of the City of Paris more particularly described <br /> as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at a point in the East Boundary <br /> line of Loop 286 S. E., said point beir.g the <br /> Northwest corner of Lot l, Block A of Morningside <br /> Estate, Part l; <br /> THENCE North 14° 54' West with said East <br /> Boundary line of Loop 286 S. E., a distance of <br /> 808.09 feet to a point; <br /> THENCE North 0° 41' West, a distance of <br /> 357.55 feet to a point; <br /> THENCE East, a distance of 407.63 feet to a <br /> point; <br /> THENCE South 0° 17' West, a distance of <br /> 1138.38 feet to a point in the North boundary line <br /> of Block A of said Morningside Estates, Part l; <br /> THENCE South 89° 58' West a distance of <br /> 189.68 feet to the place of beginning and contain- <br /> ing 8.619 acres of land. <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Cor.ununity Development <br /> of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to <br /> change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance <br /> with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use <br /> map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the <br /> provisions of this ordinance. <br /> Section 3. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective <br /> immediately upon passage. <br />
