ORDINANCE N0. 84-040 AN ORDINANCE AMENDITdG ZONING OkDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOTS 5 AND 6, CITY BLOCK 227-E, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO RICKY DALE JORDAN, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A TW0 FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F) AND A NEIGHBORHGGD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), be, and the same is hereby established on LOTS 5 AND 6, CITY BLOCK 227-E, on property belonging to RICKY DALE JORDAN, so as to include in such GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a TWO FAMIi,Y DWELLING DISTRICT (2F) AND A NEIGHBORHOOD SERVIGE DISTRICT (NS), and that the boundaries of said GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), be, anu the same are hereby established as tollows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and being Lots 5 and 6, City Block 227-E and more particularly described as iollows: BEGINNING at the intersection of the North boundary line of Pine Bluff Street with the West boundary line of 20th N. E. Street; THENCE West caith the North Baundazy I,ine of Pine Bluff Street, 142 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot 5, City Block 227-E; THENCE North, parallel with the West Boundary line of 20th N. E., 158 feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot 7, City Block 227-E; THENCE East with the North line of said Lot 7, 142 feet to a pci.r_t in thE West boundary line of 20th N.E.; THENCE Scuth with the West boundary line of ZQth N.E., 158 feet to the place of beginning. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris ir_ accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. ~ection 3. Al1 ordinances ancl parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance sha11 become effe.ctive immediately upon passage.
