<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0.84-054 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE <br /> CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br /> ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT 1, CITY BLOCK 37, ON PROPERTY <br /> BELONGING TO JOHN DAVID GRIFFITH, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN <br /> TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING <br /> DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1); AND DFSIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established <br /> by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of <br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, <br /> and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same is <br /> hereby established on LOT 1, CITY BLOCK 37, on property <br /> belonging to JOHN DAVID GRIFFITH, so as to include in such <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, <br /> which was formerly and is presently designated as a MULTI- <br /> FA14ILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1), and that the <br /> boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same <br /> are hereby established as follows: <br /> Situated within the corporate limits of the <br /> City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of <br /> Texas, and being a part of the Larkin Rattan <br /> Survey and part of Block 37 of the City of Paris, <br /> and described by metes and bounds as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at the intersection of the SB line <br /> of Pine Bluff Street with the EB Line of 3rd <br /> Street NE; <br /> THENCE East wi.th the SB line of Pine Bluff <br /> Street, 148 feet more or less to the NW corner of <br /> a lot conveyed by Mrs. Mallie J. Morris to Mark W. <br /> Dancer and wife, by deed of record in Book 234, <br /> Page 431, Lamar County Deed Records; <br /> THENCE South with WB line, 123 feet his SW <br /> corner, a stake in the NB line of a lot conveyed <br /> by J. P. Morris to W. T. Ridley; <br /> THENCE with Ridley's NB line West, 148 feet <br /> more or less to the EB line of 3rd Street NE; <br /> THENCE North 123 feet to the place of <br /> beginning. <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development <br /> of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to <br /> change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance <br /> with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use <br /> map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the <br /> provisions of this ordinance. <br /> Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective <br /> immediately upon passage. <br />
