ORDINANCE N0. 84-062 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTIONS 31-44 OF SAID CODE; INCREASING THE PENALTY TO ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000.00); PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $1,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDI- NANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE UATE OF SEPTEMBER 10, 1984. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That Section 31-44 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall read as follows: "Sec. 31-44. Penalty for violation of article provisions. Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall be guilty of a Class "C" misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000.00), and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above enumerated sections shall constitute and be deemed a separate offense." Section 2. Any person violating any of the pro- visions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $1,000.00, and each and every day's contin- uance of any violation of the above enumerated section shall constitute and be deemed a separate offense. Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective on the lOth day of September, 1984.
