ORDINANCE N0. 84-084 AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPERTY ON SYCAMORE STREET, FROM THE EAST BOUNDARY LINE OF 6TH STREET S.E•'G APPROXIMATELY 631.23oFEETRY 8 STREET S.E., BEIN IN THE C TY0F PARIS, TEXAS; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF PARIS TO PUBLISH THE SAME THREE (3) TIMES IN THE PARIS NEWS AS REQUIRED BY LAW; APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE FINAL ESTIMATE OF COSTS AND CONSTRUCTION PLANS OF SUCH STREET IMPROVEMENTS AS FILED BY THE CITY ELdGINEER; FIXING THE CHARGES TO BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE ABUTTiNG PROPERTY OWNERS AND THE CHARGES TO BE PAID BY THE CITY OF PARIS; AND WITH THE INTENTION OF ISA D PROPERTY AND AGANNST ATHETSAID PROPERTY TRUE OWNERS OF ITSELF. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas hereby finds and determines: 1. That the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas has heretofore by ordinance duly enacted on the llth day af June, 1984, determined the necessity for and ordered the improvement of Sycamore Street, from the East boundary line of 6th Street S.E., East to the West boundary line of 8th Street S.E., being approximately 631.23 feet, by excavating, grading, and paving, and according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer. 2. That a notice duly executed in the name of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, of the enactment of said above described ordinance has heretofore been filed with the County Clerk of Lamar County, Texas, the County in which said City of Paris is situated. 3. That the City Council has caused the City Engineer to prepare and file estimates of the costs of such improvements and estimates of the amounts per front foot to be assessed against the property abutting said street within the limits defined and the real and true owners thereof. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY GOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. The date for public hearing before the City Council of the abutting property owners on the above described property is hereby fixed at 5:15 o'clock P.M., in the City Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas, on the 6th day of December, 1984. The City Clerk is her.eby directed to publish in the Paris News, notice of the public hearing, three (3) times prior to said public hearing, the first of said notices to be published at least twenty-one (21) days prior to the date of the public hearing, as required by law. Section 2. That the report to the City Council by the City Engineer, consisting of the fin.al estimate of the costs of the improvements to the abutting property owners of approximately $11.812 per front foot for excavating, grading, and paving as heretofore approved, and the final construction plans and final estimate, as prepared by said City Engineer are in all things approved by the City Council of the City of nar~he amountt of $3,245. 9 and ltheo abu ting paving costs,
