<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. r2615r7- ~,3 (301 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE <br /> CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br /> ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A <br /> GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOT 5, CITY BLOCK 286, ON <br /> PROPERTY BELONGING TO JIMMY R. SLAYDEN, SO AS TO INCLUDE <br /> THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAMILY <br /> DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUND- <br /> ARIES QF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established <br /> by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of <br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, <br /> and that a General Retail District (GR), be, and the same is <br /> hereby established on Lot 5, City Block 286, on property <br /> belonging to Jimmy R. Slayden, so as to include in such <br /> General Retail District (GR) the hereinafter described <br /> property, which was formerly and is presently designated as <br /> a One Family Dwelling District No 2(SF-2), and that the <br /> boundaries of said General Retail District (GR), be, and the <br /> same are hereby established as follows: <br /> Situated within the corporate limits of the <br /> City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of <br /> Texas, an.d being a part of the George w. Cox <br /> Survey and being a part of a tract of land con- <br /> veyed to Joe Dodd arid wife, by Elsworth Reed and <br /> wife, by Deed dated January 31, 1948, recorded in <br /> Volume 304, Page 155, Deed Records, Lamar County, <br /> Texas. <br /> BEGINNING at a 2-inch diameter metal pipe <br /> found for corner in the rdorth boundary line of <br /> Lamar Avenue, said point being the Southwest <br /> corner of said Dodd tract; <br /> THENCE East along the North boundary line of <br /> Lamar Avenue, 74.15 feet to a steel rod found for <br /> corner at the Southeast corner of said Dodd tract; <br /> THENCE North 02 degrees 18 minutes West, <br /> 300.0 feet to a steel rod set for corner in a <br /> fence line; <br /> THENCE West, 60.23 feet to a steel rod set <br /> for corner in an old fence line; <br /> THENCE South Ol degrees 09 miriutes Est, 300.0 <br /> feet to the place of beginning. <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development <br /> of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to <br /> change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance <br /> with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use <br /> map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the <br /> provisions of this ordinance. <br /> Section 3. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective <br /> imrnediately upon passage. <br />
