<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 261t'?~3 -OOg <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE <br /> CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br /> ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A <br /> PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) ON PART OF LOT <br /> 22, CITY BLOCK 309, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO THE STATE <br /> DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION, SO AS TO <br /> INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICUL- <br /> TURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br /> PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TFiE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established <br /> by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of <br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, <br /> and that a PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI), be, <br /> and the same is hereby established on part of Lat 22, City <br /> Block 309, on property belonging to the State Department of <br /> Highways and Public Transportation, so as to include in such <br /> PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) the hereinafter <br /> described property, which was formerly and is presently <br /> designated as an AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A), arid that the <br /> boundaries of said PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT <br /> (PLI), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: <br /> Situated within the corporate limits of the <br /> City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of <br /> Texas, and being a part of a 25.432 acre tract of <br /> land, situated in the Isaac Cruise Survey, Abst. <br /> No. 162, conveyed by Earnest Randle and wife, <br /> Myrtie Randle to Russell Gifford, V.A. Gifford, <br /> and O. C. Gantt by deed dated the 4th day of <br /> August, 1966, and recorded in Volume 446, Page <br /> 481, of Deed Records of Lamar County, Texas; <br /> BEGINNING at a point, said point being in the <br /> existing west boundary line of said 25.432 acre <br /> tract, said point being in the existing east <br /> right-of-way line of existing Loop 286, said point <br /> being N 74°09' E a distance of 141.3 feet from <br /> survey line station 151+72.0 of said Loop 286, <br /> said point being N 44°30' W a distance of 488.4 <br /> feet, thence with a curve to the right with a <br /> radius of 3682.72 feet, a distance of 911.8 feet <br /> from the existing most southerly southeast corner <br /> of said 25.432 acre tract, said point also being <br /> in a curve to the right whose radius is 2680.72 <br /> feet and whose tangent at this point bears N <br /> 30°17' W; said point also being in the north <br /> boundary line of a Lone Star Gas Company easement; <br /> THENCE in a northerly direction with said <br /> existing east right-of-way line and said existing <br /> west boundary line of said 25.432 acre tract a <br /> distance of 368.7 feet, a point, said point being <br /> in said curve whose tangent bears n 24° 33' W; <br /> THENCE N 17°50' E continuing along said <br /> existing east right-of-way line and said existing <br /> west boundary line of said 25.432 acre tract a <br /> distance of 138.3 feet, a point; <br /> THENCE N 12057' W continuing along said <br /> existing east right-of-way line and said existing <br /> west boundary line of said 25.432 acre tract a <br /> distance of 31.9 feet, a point, said point being <br />
