<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE <br /> CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br /> ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CI'1'Y; ESTABLISHING A <br /> PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT - SHOPPING CENTER (PD a) ON <br /> LOTS 15, 16, 17 AND 18, CITY BLOCK 296, ON PROPERTY <br /> BELONGING TO JOHN HUTCHINGS, CHARLIE ADKINS, JOHN MILES AND <br /> BOB MCCARLEY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY <br /> DESIGNATED AS AN OFFICE DISTRICT (0) AND ONE FAMILY DWELLING <br /> DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DE5IGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br /> PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT ° SHOPPING CENTER (PD a) SO <br /> ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established <br /> by the Zaning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of <br /> Paris, PariS, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, <br /> and that a PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT - SHOPPING CENTER <br /> (PD a), be, and the same is hereby established on Lots 15, <br /> 16, 17, and 18, City Block 296, on property belonging to <br /> John Hutchings, Charlie Adkins, John Miles and Bob McCarley, <br /> so as to include in such PLANNED DFVELOPMENT DISTRICT - <br /> SHOPPING CENTER (PD a) the hereinafter described property, <br /> which was formerly and is presently designated as a OFFICE <br /> DISTRICT (O) AND ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2), <br /> and that the boundaries of said PI.ANNED DEVELOPNIENT DISTRICT <br /> - SHOPPING CENTER (PD a), be, and the same are hereby <br /> established as follows: <br /> Situated within the corporate limits of the <br /> City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of <br /> Texas, and being a part of the Joseph Leach Survey <br /> and a part of a 5.48 acre tract of land conveyed <br /> by G. E. Griffis to C. W. Cothran by deed of <br /> record in Book 334, Page 295, Lamar County Deed <br /> Records and more particularly described as <br /> follows: <br /> BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of said <br /> Griffis tract; <br /> THENCE South with its west boundary line, 314 <br /> feet to a point in the North boundary line of <br /> Lamar Ave; <br /> THENCE in a Northeasterly direction with the <br /> North boundary line of Lamar Avenue, 550 feet to a <br /> point; <br /> THENCE North, 2'63.5 feet to a point in the <br /> North line of said 5.48 acre tract; <br /> THENCE West, 544.25 feet to the place of <br /> beginning. <br /> Section 2. That the zoning herein granted is <br /> conditioned upon the submission of a Site Plan in accordance <br /> with Section 8-302 of Ordinance No. 1710, which after full <br /> compliance with the procedure established in Section 21 of <br /> said Ordinance No. 1710, must be approved by the City <br /> Council prior to the issuance of any building permits. <br /> Section 3. That the Director of Community Development <br /> of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to <br /> change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance <br /> with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use <br />
