ORVIt1ANCE N0. 2$$9$ AN ORDINANCE CLOSING THE ALLEY, BEGINNING APPROXIMATELY 154.3 FEET SOUTH OF THE SOUTH BOUNDARY LINE OF KAUFMAN STREET AND RUNNING SOUTH FOR APFROXIMATELY 70 FEET, SOME- TIriES REFERRED TO AS 4TH STREET S. E. AND SOMETIMES REFERRED TO AS AN ALLEY; DECLARING NO NECESSITY OR TiEEU OF SAID ALLEY FOR CITY USE OTHER THAIV FOR A UTILITY EASEMENT, WHICH IS EXPRESSLY RETAINED BY THE CITY OF PARIS; AND PRUVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF MARCH 14, 1983. WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of thF City Council of the City of Paris, that an alley, beginning approximately 154.3 feet South of the South Boundary line of Kaufman Street and running South for approximately 70 feet, sometimes referred to as 4th Street S. E. and sometimes referred to as an alley; is of no use as an alley or street to the City of Paris or to its citizens, but is of use and necessary to the City of Paris and its citizens for utility easement purposes, and the City Council so finds; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the alley, beginning approximately 154.3 feet South of the South Boundary line of Kaufman Street and running South for approximately 70 feet, some- times referred to as 4th Street S. E. and sometimes referred to as an alley described in Exhibit A attached hereto, is hereby closed, with the City of Paris retaining a utility easement. Section 2.
