<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 83-031 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE <br /> CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br /> ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A <br /> GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - AUTO <br /> LAUNDRY (3) ON PART OF LUT 29, CITY BLOCK 249, ON PROPERTY <br /> BELONGING TO GARY NASH, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY <br /> FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR); AND <br /> DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT <br /> (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - AUTO LAUNDRY (3) SO <br /> ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF` <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established <br /> by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of <br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, <br /> and that a GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE <br /> PERMIT - AUTO LAUNDRY (3), be, and the same is hereby <br /> established on PART OF LOT 29, CITY BLOCK 249, on property <br /> belonging to GARY NASH, so as to include in such GENERAL <br /> RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - AUTO LAUNDRY <br /> (3) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly <br /> and is presently designated as a GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT <br /> (GR), and that the boundaries of said GENERAL RETAIL DIS- <br /> TRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - AUTO LAUNDRY (3), be, <br /> and the same are hereby established as follows: <br /> Situated within the corporate limits of the <br /> City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of <br /> Texas, and being further described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of a tract <br /> of land described in deed from Louis Wolens et al <br /> to Paris Theatres, Inc., dated the 19th day of <br /> October, 1973, and recorded in the deed records of <br /> Lamar County, Texas, Book 552, Page 697; <br /> THENCE North along the East boundary line of <br /> a tract of land owned by Louis Wolens et a~, a <br /> distance of 120 feet to a point for corner; <br /> THENCE West a distance of 185 feet to a point <br /> for corner; <br /> THENCE South 120 feet to a point in the North <br /> boundary line of the Paris Threaters, Inc., tract <br /> of land; <br /> THENCE East 185 feet to the place of begin- <br /> ning and containing 22,200 square feet more or <br /> less. <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development <br /> of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to <br /> change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance <br /> with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use <br /> map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the <br /> provisions of this ordinance. <br /> Section 3. All ordiriances and parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective <br /> immediately upon passage. <br />
