STATE AND FEDERAL LIMITATIONS ON DISCHARGES <br /> State and/or federal limitations and requirements on <br /> discharges, which apply to the PGTW or its users, shall <br /> apply in all cases where they are more stringent than those <br /> contained herein, and, where state and federal limitations <br /> differ, the lower limit shall apply. <br /> G. EXCESSIVE DISCHARGE <br /> No user shall ever increase the use of potable or <br /> process water or, in any way, attempt to dilute a discharge <br /> as a partial or complete substitute for adequate treatment to <br /> achieve compliance with the limitations contained in the <br /> Federal Categorical Pretreatment standards, or in any other <br /> pollutant-specific limitation developed by the City or the <br /> state, including BOD and TSS. <br /> NOTE: Dilution may, however, be acceptable as a <br /> means of controlling some of the prohibited discharge <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 16 <br />
