ORDINANCE N0. 83-038 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOTS 23 and 24, CITY BLOCK 157, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO DOROTHY MALLISON, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUND- ARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL UISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PAkIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same is hereby established on LOTS 23 and 24, CITY BLOCK 157, on property belonging to DOROTHY MALLISON, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a MULTI-FANIILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1), and that the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and being further described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the East Boundary line of lst S. W., said point being 177 feet South of the South boundary line of Long Avenue and being the Northwest corner of Lot 24, City Block 157; THENCE East a distance of 108 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot 24; THENCE South a distance of 118.55 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 23, City Block 157; THENCE West a distance of 108 feet to a point in the East boundary line of lst S. W., said point being the Southwest corner of said Lot 23; THENCE North with the East boundary line of lst S. W. a distance of 118.55 feet to the place of beginning. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. 5ection 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
