ORDINANCE NO. 83-042 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) LIMITED TO USE AS SOLID WASTE TRANSFER STATION ON LOT 6, CITY BLOCK 276, UN PROPERTY BELONGING TO THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (LI); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) LIMITED TO USE AS SOLID WASTE TRANSFER STATION SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) LIMITED TO USE AS SOLID WASTE TRANSFER STATION, be, and the same is hereby established on LOT 6, CITY BLOCK 276, on property belonging to the CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, so as to include in such PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) LIMITED TO USE AS SOLID WASTE TRANSFER STATION the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (LI), and that the boundaries of said PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) LIMITED TO USE AS SOLID WASTE TRANSFER STATION, be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and being further described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the South boundary line of Loop 286 N. E. said point being North 57°09' West, 356.2 feet from the West boundary line of 17th N.E., said point being the Northeast corner of Lot 6, City Block 276; THENCE South 1009' East a distance of 357 feet to a paint in the North boundary line of Clement Road; THENCE West with the North boundary line of Clement Road, a distance of 260 feet to a point for corner; THENCE North, a distance of 200 feet to a point for corner; THENCE 6aest, a distance of 179 feet to a point for corner; THENCE North 0° 05' West, a distance of 456 feet to a point for corner in the South boundary line of Loop 286 N.E.; THENCE South 57° 09' East a distance of 540 feet to the place of beginning. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris iri accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
