ORDINANCE N0. 83-047 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PAkIS, PARIS, TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE r7AP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-80 OF SAID CODE; PROVIUII`dG FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CQTJFLICT; HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF AUGUST l, 1983. BE IT ORDAIr7ED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the. Traffic-Control Device Map adopted in Paragraph (b) of Section 29-80 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris be amended to include stop signs as follows: Stop, Belmont Street at 12th N. E. Street, from the East and West. Stop, Pine Bluff Street at 25th N. E. Street, from the East and West. Stop, Highland Street at 25th N. E. Street, from the West. Stop, Ridgeview Street at 25th N. E. Street, from the East and West Stop, Briarwood Street at 25th N. E. Street, trom the West. Stop, Ballard Drive at 25th N. E. Street, from East and West. Stop, Cypress Street at 25th N. E. Street, from the West. Stop, Kessler Drive at 25th N. E. Street, from the East and West Stop, Crescent Drive at 25th N. E. Street, from the West. Stop, Beverly Drive at 25th N. E. Street, from the West. Stop, Hickory Street at 25th N. E. Street, from the East." Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misde- meanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200.00. 5ection 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on August 1, 1983.
