The City Tax Assessor and Collector of the <br /> Gity of Paris is hereby directed to assess, extend and enter <br /> upon the rolls of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, tor the <br /> current taxable year, the amount and rates herein levied and <br /> to keep a current account ot same, and the taxes herein <br /> levied shall be collected as provided by the ordinances and <br /> the Charter of the City af Paris, Yaris, Texas, and the laws <br /> of the State ot Texas; and when so collected, same shall be <br /> distributed in accordance with ordinance. <br /> Section 4. Current ad valorem taxes for the year 1983, <br /> paid on or prior to December 31, 1983, shall be sub j ect to <br /> discounts as follows: <br /> Three per cent if paid on or before October 31, <br /> 1983; Two per cent it paid after October 31, 1983 <br /> and on or before November 30, 1983; One per cent <br /> if paid after Ylovember 30, 1983, and on or betore <br /> December 31, 1983; <br /> as authorized in Section 90 of the c;harter of the City of <br /> Paris and in Article 7255b, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes. <br /> Section 5.
