ORDINANCE N0. 83-061 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING ARTICLE IV OF CHAPTER 14 OF SAID CODE; ESTABLISHING A SOLID WASTE SERVICE FEE AND SETTING THE RATE THEREOF; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF OCTOBER 3, 1983. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That Article IV of Chapter 14 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall read as follows: "Article IV. Solid Waste Service Fee. "Sec. 14-50. Definition. "As used in this article, the word "division" shall mean the water and sewer billing and collection division of the water and sewer department of the city. "Sec. 14-51. Solid Waste Service Fee Rate. "Beginning October 3, 1983, the division shall collect $5.00 for each single family and each two family residential water customer. The division shall collect $5.00 for each residential unit in any multi-family building that does not provide its own trash collection service. The division shall collect $1.00 for each single family unit of a multi-family building or trailer park which is providing its own trash collection system. The division shall collect $1.15 for each commercial and industrial water customer." Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 3.
