<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 2601 <br /> <br /> 2,N ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0, 1710 OF <br /> THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDA- <br /> RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH- <br /> ING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOTS 16 and 17, CITY BLOCY. <br /> 250, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO B; FRANK DOOLEY AND E. E. <br /> BARBEE, ET AL, SO AS TO ITZCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY <br /> DESIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 2(SF-2); <br /> AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COPIMERCIAL DISTRICT <br /> (C) SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established <br /> by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of <br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, <br /> and that a Commercial District (C), be, and the same is <br /> hereby established on Lots 16 and 17, City Block 250, on <br /> property belonging to B. Frank Dooley and E. E. Barbee, <br /> et al, so as to include in such Commercial District (C) <br /> the hereinafter described property, which was formerly <br /> and is presently designated as a One-Family Dwelling <br /> District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said <br /> Commercial District (C), be, and the same are hereby <br /> established as follows: <br /> Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City <br /> of Paris, Lamar County, Texas; <br /> BEGINNING at the intersection of the East Boundary <br /> Line of U. S. Highway No. 271 with the South Boundary <br /> Line of Loop Highway No. 286 N. E.; <br /> THENCE in an Easterly direction with said South <br /> Boundary Line of Loop Highway No. 286 N. E., to its <br /> intersection with the West Boundary Line of Stillhouse <br /> Road; <br /> THENCE South 35 Deg. 11 Min. West along the said <br /> West Boundary Line of Stillhouse Road 501.5 feet to a <br /> point in the South line of the original 30.09 acre <br /> tract conveyed by Mrs. Sarah A. Hull, et al to Daisie <br /> Barbee by deed dated March 7, 1934, recorded in Vol. <br /> 235, Page 363, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas; <br /> THENCE North 60 Deg. 00 Min. tiaest 1007 feet to <br /> a point; <br /> THENCE North 45 Deg. 00 Min. West 744 feet to a <br /> point; <br /> THENCE West 494 feet more or less to the place <br /> of beginning. <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development <br /> of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change <br /> the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the <br /> provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map ac- <br /> companying the same, and in accordance with the provisions <br /> of this ordinance. <br /> Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are nereby expressly repealed. <br />
