<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO, 2611 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0, 1710 OF <br /> THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br /> ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A <br /> GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOT 1-A, BLOCK 2, FITZHUGH <br /> ADDITION, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO JESSE HALL, SO AS TO IN- <br /> CLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FOR4ERLY DESIGNATED AS A NEIGHBORHOOD <br /> SERVICE DISTRICT (NS); AiND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF <br /> THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED, <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established <br /> by the Zoning Man and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of <br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and <br /> that a General Retail District (GR), be, and the same is hereby <br /> established on Lot 1-A, Block 2, Fitzhugh Addition, on pro- <br /> perty belonging to Jesse Hall, so as to include in such <br /> General Retail District (GR), the hereinafter described <br /> property, which was formerly and is presently designated <br /> as a Neighborhood Service District (NS), and that the <br /> boundaries of said Genral Retail District (GR), be, and the <br /> same are hereby established as fallows: <br /> Situated within the corporate limits of the <br /> City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the <br /> I. Davis Survey and of Lot One (1) in Block 'I~ao (2) <br /> of the Fitzhugh Addition to the City of Paris, de- <br /> scribed by metes and bounds as follows : <br /> BEGINNING at a stake in the WB line of Fitzhugh <br /> Avenue at the NE corner of said Lot One; <br /> THENCE SOUTH with the WB line of Fitzhugh Avenue <br /> 50 feet, a stake; <br /> THENCE WEST 100 feet, a stake at the SE corner <br /> of the lot conveyed by J. W. Wood to r~rs. F. G. <br /> Thornhill on October 23, 1917, by deed recorded in <br /> Book 167, Page 413, Lamar County Deed Records; <br /> THENCE NORTH with its EB line 50 feet, a stake <br /> in the NB line of Lot One in Block Two of the <br /> Fitzhugh Addition; <br /> THENCE EAST with its NB line 100 feet to the <br /> place of beginning, and being the same property con- <br /> veyed by W. M. Christian and wife, Inez; Christian, <br /> to Robert Glass et al, on September 24, 1954 by <br /> deed recorded in Book 324, Page 101, Lamar County <br /> Deed Records; reference being made to the above <br /> mentioned i_nstruments and recor_ds for all necessary <br /> purposes. <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development <br /> of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change <br /> the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the <br /> provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use riap <br /> accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions <br /> of this ordinance. <br /> Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br />
