ORDINANCE N0. 2626 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDA- RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY: ESTABLISH- ING AN OFFICE DISTRICT (0) ON LOT 18, CITY BLOCK 296, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO MARVIN AND GLENDAL MITCHELL, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0, 2(SF-2): AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE OFFICE DISTRICT (0) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance IJo. 1710 0£ the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that an Office District (0), be, and the same is hereby established on Lot 18, City Block 296, on property belonging to Marvin and Glendal Mitchell, so as to include in such Office District (0), the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a One Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said Office District (0), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: A part of the Joseph Leach Survey, and also being a part of a 5.48 acre tract of land conveyed by F. E. Griffis to C. W. Cothran by deed of record in Book 334, Page 295, Lamar County Deed Records, described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING AT a stake in the NB line of afore- said 5.48 acre tract at a distance of 445 feet East from its NW corner at the NE corner of a lot out of said 5.48 acre tract conveyed by C. W. Cothran to Rayford [aalker; THENCE SOUTH with TuJalker's EB line 276.5 feet to the NB line of U.W. Highway 82; THENCE with the NB line of U.S. HIghway 82, North 822 Deg. East 100 feet to a stake; THENCE NORTH 263.5 feet a stake in the NB line of aforesaid 5.48 acre tract; THENCE WEST 99.25 feet to the place of beginning, containing .61 acres of land. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon passage.
