<br /> CITY OF PARIS AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS Oi1
<br /> THf", PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN P ROPERTY BY THE CITY OF
<br /> PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND APPROPRIATE ZONING UPON ANNEXATION,
<br /> AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF
<br /> SUCH PUBLIC HEARINGS.
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
<br /> Section l. That public hearings be held by and before
<br /> the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris,
<br /> Paris, Texas, on the 6th day of July, 1982 at 7:00 o'clock P.M.,
<br /> in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas; and by and
<br /> before the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas,
<br /> in Special Session convened on the 6th day of July, 1982,
<br /> at 6:00 o'clock P.M., on property 250 feet East of Fashions
<br /> of Paris at the North boundary of Stone Ave, Paris, Texas;
<br /> and by and before the City Council of the City of Paris,
<br /> Paris, Texas, in Regular Session convened on the 12th day of
<br /> July, 1982, at 7:00 o'clock P.M. in the Council Room, City Hall,
<br /> Paris, Texas, giving all interested persons the right to appear
<br /> and be heard on the proposed annexation and appropriate zoning
<br /> upon annexation of the following described property:
<br /> A tract of land situated in Lamar County, Texas
<br /> being part of the Reddin Russell Survey #786, and
<br /> being part of the 94.07 acre tract of land willed
<br /> to Estelle Council and being shown in an Affidavit
<br /> as recorded in Volume 305, Page 455, Deed Records
<br /> of said county and state, and further described as
<br /> follows:
<br /> BEGINNING at the intersection of the North line
<br /> of Stone Ave, in the City of Paris and the East
<br /> Right-of--way of ~S Highway 271;
<br /> THENCE S 85 51' E, 215.0 feet along the North
<br /> line of Stone Ave. to the true point of beginning
<br /> of the tract herein described;
<br /> THENCE continue along said North line S 85°51'E,
<br /> 127.7 feet to a PI in said North line;
<br /> THENCE continuing with said North line S 59°40E,
<br /> 1256 feet more or less, to the Western most corner of
<br /> a tract conveyed to the Powderly-Reno Consolidated ISC
<br /> by deed recorded in Volume 459, Page 163, Deed Recordsd
<br /> THENCE along the West line of said property, N 30
<br /> 20'E, 528 feet to the Northern most corner of said tract;
<br /> THENCE North, 718.7 feet along the West line of a
<br /> tract of land conveyed to said ISD by deed recorded in
<br /> Volume 436, Page 14 to the Northwest corner of said tract;
<br /> THENCE N 76°12' W, 1449.3 feet more or less, to the
<br /> Southeast corner of a tract conveyed to the North Paris
<br /> Baptist Church by deed recorded in Volume 571, Page 551;
<br /> THENCE with the South line of said church property
<br /> N 89°31'W, 370.1 feet to said R-O-W of Highway 271;
<br /> THENCE along a curve to the SE having a radius
<br /> of 11,434 feet, a distance of 552.9 feet to the
<br /> Southwest corner of a tract conveyed to Abbcos, Inc.
<br /> by deed recorded in Volume 631, Page 291;
<br /> THENCE along the South line of said Abbcos Tract,
<br /> 5 85°E, 250 feet to the Southeast corner of said
<br /> Abbcos tract;
