ORDINANCE N0. 2635 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710, OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDA- RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY: ESTABLISH- ING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOTS 3,4,5,6 and 7, CITY BLOCK 248, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO ROBERT J. MCDOUGALL, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) 60 ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial District (C), be, and the same is hereby established on Lots 3,4,5,6 and 7, City Block 248, on property belonging to Robert J. McDougall, so as to include in such Commercial District (C) the hereinafter described property which was formerly and is presently designated as a General Retail District (GR), and that the boundaries of said Commercial District (C), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas; BEGINNING at the intersection of the South line of Clarksville Street with the East line of 17th S. E. Street; THENCE Southeasterly along the South line of Clarksville Street, a distance of 581 feet, more or less; THENCE South 2°00' East, a distance of 252 feet to a point; THENCE East, a distance of 126.3 feet to a point; THENCE North, a distance of 83.3 feet to a point; THENCE South 64000' East, a distance of 150 feet to a point in the West line of 19th S. E. Street; THENCE South, a distance of 2 feet to a point; THENCE West, a distance of 82 feet to a point; THENCE South, a distance of 195 feet to a point in the North line of Block A of Crockett Place Addition,• THENEE with said North line of Block A, Crockett Place Addition the following courses and distances; West, 130 feet to a point; North 123 feet to a point; West 225 feet more or less to a point; North 98 feet to a point; and West a distance of 155 feet to a point; THENCE North a distance of 200 feet to a point; THENCE West a distance of 197 feet to a point in the East line of 17th S. E. Street; THENCE North a distance of 310 feet to the place of beginning. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning r2ap of the City of Paris in accordance with the provision of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
