<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 2635 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710, OF <br /> THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDA- <br /> RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY: ESTABLISH- <br /> ING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOTS 3,4,5,6 and 7, CITY <br /> BLOCK 248, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO ROBERT J. MCDOUGALL, <br /> SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED <br /> AS A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR); AND DESIGNATING THE <br /> BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) 60 ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established <br /> by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of <br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, <br /> and that a Commercial District (C), be, and the same is <br /> hereby established on Lots 3,4,5,6 and 7, City Block 248, <br /> on property belonging to Robert J. McDougall, so as to <br /> include in such Commercial District (C) the hereinafter <br /> described property which was formerly and is presently <br /> designated as a General Retail District (GR), and that <br /> the boundaries of said Commercial District (C), be, and <br /> the same are hereby established as follows: <br /> Situated within the corporate limits of the <br /> City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas; <br /> BEGINNING at the intersection of the South line <br /> of Clarksville Street with the East line of 17th <br /> S. E. Street; <br /> THENCE Southeasterly along the South line of <br /> Clarksville Street, a distance of 581 feet, more <br /> or less; <br /> THENCE South 2°00' East, a distance of 252 feet <br /> to a point; <br /> THENCE East, a distance of 126.3 feet to a point; <br /> THENCE North, a distance of 83.3 feet to a point; <br /> THENCE South 64000' East, a distance of 150 feet <br /> to a point in the West line of 19th S. E. Street; <br /> THENCE South, a distance of 2 feet to a point; <br /> THENCE West, a distance of 82 feet to a point; <br /> THENCE South, a distance of 195 feet to a <br /> point in the North line of Block A of Crockett <br /> Place Addition,• <br /> THENEE with said North line of Block A, Crockett <br /> Place Addition the following courses and distances; <br /> West, 130 feet to a point; North 123 feet to a point; <br /> West 225 feet more or less to a point; North 98 feet <br /> to a point; and West a distance of 155 feet to a point; <br /> THENCE North a distance of 200 feet to a point; <br /> THENCE West a distance of 197 feet to a point <br /> in the East line of 17th S. E. Street; <br /> THENCE North a distance of 310 feet to the place <br /> of beginning. <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development <br /> of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to <br /> change the Zoning r2ap of the City of Paris in accordance <br /> with the provision of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use <br /> map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the <br /> provisions of this ordinance. <br />
