<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2506 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br /> PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, <br /> BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 27-24, FOR THE PURPOSE <br /> OF INCREASING THE CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION PERMIT FEE <br /> TO $5. 00 AND INCREASING THE DAILY DELAY PENALTY TO <br /> $l. 00; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200. 00; <br /> REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN <br /> CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE <br /> DATE OF JULY 1, 1980. <br /> BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Section 27 -24 of the Code of Ordinances of <br /> the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall <br /> read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Sec. 27-24. Same--Fee. <br /> <br /> The fee for a permit required by Section 27-22 shall <br /> be Five Dollars ($5. 00). In the event that work is begun <br /> without obtaining such permit, an addit.ional fee of One <br /> Dollar ($1. 00) per day shall be charged for each day's <br /> delay in obtaining the permit. The payment of such fee <br /> shall not relieve any person from prosecution for violating <br /> Section 27 -22. " <br /> <br /> Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this <br /> ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and upon <br /> conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200. OQ. <br /> <br /> Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict <br /> herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on July l, <br /> 1980. <br /> <br /> Passed and adopted this 9th day of June, 1980. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Michael E.
