ORDINANCE NOa 2507 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 7-18 BY INCREASING THE PERMIT FEES LISTED THEREIN; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200. 00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVID- ING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JULY 1, 1980. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PA R IS: Section 1. That Section 7-18(b) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended by increasing the fees provided for in the following Subparagraphs: (2) $0.008 per square foot. (3) $0.010 per square foot. (4) Basement, $0.010 per square foot; first floor, $0.030 per square foot; all additional floors, $0. 015 per square foot. (5) Basement, $0.010 per square foot; first floor, $0.040 per square foot; all additional floors, $0. 020 per square foot. (6) Basement, $0.015 per square foot; first floor, $0. 060 per square foot; second floor, $0.050 per square foot; third floor, $0.040 per square foot; each additional floor, $0.020 per square foot. (7) $0.050 per square foot. (8) $0.030 per square foot. (9) $0.020 per square foot. (10) $0.015 per square foot. Section 2. That Section 7-18(d) of the Code of Ordinances of the C.ity of Paris, Par.is, Texas, be amended to read as follows: "(d) Signs. The fee required for the granting and issuance of a permit for the erection and construction of an electric sign shall be as follows: For signs to and including thirty-six (36) square feet in area, Five Dollars ($5. 00) each; all s.igns in excess of thirty-six (36) square feet, the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00). The fee for the granting and issuance of a permit authorizing the con- struction of billboards shall be the sum of Ten Dollars ($10. 00) for each panel thereof. "
