ORDINANCE N0. 2517 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, pARIS, TEXAS, PROVID- ING THAT tHE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE A.~iENDED BY REVISING SECTIONS 31-17, 31-1$, 31-19, 31-20 AND 31-24 OF SAID CODE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN COPIFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR AN INCREASE IN THE WATER AND SEWER RAYES AND ANNUAL REVIEW OF THE SANE; AND PROVIDING FOR ALN EFFECTIVE DATE 0F SL'CH RATES AND ATd EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE 0F JULY 14, 1980. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That Section 31-17 of the Code of Ordinances, City of Paris, be amended so that such shall read as follows: "Sec. 31-17. Definition. As used in this article, the word "division" shall mean the water and sewer billing and collecting division of the Water and Sewer Department." Section 2. That Section 31-18(a) and (b) of the Code of Ordinances, Citg of Paris, be amended so that such shall read as follows: °'Sec. 31-18. Water rates. (a) Charges for water furnished by the city are hereby fixed at the following rates per cubic foot per month, for both domestic and comrnercial users, as reg- istered by the usex's water meter: Cubic feet of water used per month Rate 0 $1.54 Minimum Bill, No water (5/8" meter) First 200 1.19 per 100 c.f. A1lover 1,000,000 0.20 per 100 c.f.
