ORDINANCE NO. 2519 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO, 1710 OF THE CITY OF PA R IS, PA R IS, TEXA S, A ND CHA NG ING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (217) ON PART OF LOT l, BLOCK B, JEFFERSON HEIGHTS, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO R. B. STAPLES, JR. AND JOEL D. CASEY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIG- NATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (217) SO EST'ABLISHED. BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Twb-Family Dwelling District (217), be, and the same is hereby established on part of Lot 1, Block B, Jefferson Heights, on property belonging to R. B. Staples, Jr. and Joel D. Casey, so as to include in such Two- Family Dwelling District (217) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a One-Family Dwelling District NQ. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said Two-Family Dwelling District (217), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the Joseph Leach Survey; BEGINNING at a concrete monument on the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block B, Jefferson Heights, the same being on 41st Street, S. E. ; THENCE North 337 feet along 41st Street, S. E. to a stake for a corner; THENCE West 150 feet to a stake for a corner; THENCE Southwesterly 75 feet to a stake for a corner; THENCE South 187. 5 feet to a stake for a corner; THENCE East 210 feet to the place of beginning. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become efEective immediately upon passage.
