<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2519 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO, 1710 <br /> OF THE CITY OF PA R IS, PA R IS, TEXA S, A ND CHA NG ING THE <br /> BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; <br /> ESTABLISHING A TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (217) ON <br /> PART OF LOT l, BLOCK B, JEFFERSON HEIGHTS, ON PROPERTY <br /> BELONGING TO R. B. STAPLES, JR. AND JOEL D. CASEY, SO AS <br /> TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS <br /> A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIG- <br /> NATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE TWO-FAMILY DWELLING <br /> DISTRICT (217) SO EST'ABLISHED. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br /> Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, <br /> Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Twb-Family <br /> Dwelling District (217), be, and the same is hereby established on <br /> part of Lot 1, Block B, Jefferson Heights, on property belonging to <br /> R. B. Staples, Jr. and Joel D. Casey, so as to include in such Two- <br /> Family Dwelling District (217) the hereinafter described property, <br /> which was formerly and is presently designated as a One-Family <br /> Dwelling District NQ. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said <br /> Two-Family Dwelling District (217), be, and the same are hereby <br /> established as follows: <br /> <br /> Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of <br /> Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the Joseph Leach <br /> Survey; <br /> BEGINNING at a concrete monument on the Southeast <br /> corner of Lot 1, Block B, Jefferson Heights, the same <br /> being on 41st Street, S. E. ; <br /> THENCE North 337 feet along 41st Street, S. E. <br /> to a stake for a corner; <br /> THENCE West 150 feet to a stake for a corner; <br /> THENCE Southwesterly 75 feet to a stake for a <br /> corner; <br /> THENCE South 187. 5 feet to a stake for a corner; <br /> THENCE East 210 feet to the place of beginning. <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of <br /> the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the <br /> Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions <br /> of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the <br /> same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br /> <br /> Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict <br /> herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall become efEective immediately <br /> upon passage. <br />
